Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, healthcare or related regulated industry.
• Pharmaceutical/healthcare or regulated manufacturing-sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sustainable business growth and ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
• Evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships, licensing, contract manufacturing, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
• Oversee compliance with applicable pharmaceutical laws and regulatory standards.
• Identify new business opportunities, therapeutic segments, markets, products and revenue streams.
• Lead expansion into new geographical markets, therapeutic areas and distribution channels.
• Provide strategic direction to Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Commercial functions.
• Present performance, strategic initiatives, risks and budgets to the Board.
• Monitor revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, cash flow and working capital.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting products, manufacturing, marketing and operations.
• Represent the company before regulators, government authorities, industry associations, investors and partners.
