Job summary

Trio Animation in Karachi is seeking passionate Animators to bring characters and objects to life for high-end VFX films and episodic productions. You will craft motions, gestures and expressions for 3D CG characters and objects, collaborating with the Animation Lead and Supervisor to achieve story-driven, action-packed moments.

You will work with Rigging and Pipeline teams to improve character setups and tools, animate both primary and secondary shots, and help meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• A thorough knowledge of Maya.
• Understanding of motion, weight, balance, texture and form.
• Understanding of rigs and animation pipelines.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new processes and techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of human and animal anatomy and life drawing.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality animation aligned with story, style, and pacing.

Job Description Come join the team and be a part of the magic of creating high-end VFX film and episodic productions! We are looking for passionate Animators who can bring our characters and objects to life with motions, gestures, and expressions. Animators produce the motions, gestures and expressions of three-dimensional computer graphic characters and objects for high-end VFX films.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Animation Lead and Supervisor to produce high-quality animation which creates compelling, story-driven and action-packed moments that fit within the style and pacing of the film
• Working closely with the Rigging and Pipeline departments providing suggestions and feedback to improve character setup, visual quality, rigs and tool functionality
• Animating both primary and secondary characters and elements
• Meeting schedules and show deadlines
• Ongoing communication with Production and Lead regarding schedules and deadlines
• Supporting the Lead with the mentoring and training of more junior artists
• Working efficiently as part of a team, or independently, to complete assigned shots
• Submitting shots for review and following through with notes and feedback if required
• Continuing to become familiar with new tools, software, data and other related technology

Requirements

• An understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form
• An understanding of rigs and typical rigging set-ups, animation pipelines and transferring data between tools
