Octus invites applicants for its Fundamentals Analyst program, a structured entry point into financial data and credit markets. You will build and maintain capital structures of debt issuers in Excel models, calculate credit metrics, and ensure data quality across our coverage universe.

For the first six months, Islamabad-based candidates will work 11:00 am – 8:00 pm local time to align with the European team; later hours normalize to 9:00 am – 6:00 pm as you become autonomous.

Qualifications

• Graduates with degrees in economics, accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret financial statements.
• Interest in credit markets or financial markets; desire to learn and grow professionally.

Responsabilités

• Analyse financial reporting documents and prepare credit analyses.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models of issuers' capital structures.
• Develop financial models focusing on debt instruments, seniority, and terms.
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and data quality.
• Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance data quality and products.
