Job summary

Mahaana (YC W22) is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in C#.NET to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for our fintech platform. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver robust digital products using C#, .NET Core, Blazor, and modern JavaScript.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with SQL and MongoDB, Azure, and AKS, plus solid knowledge of SOLID principles and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of software development experience with a strong focus on C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, including .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with Blazor for web application development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and Azure services (Azure Functions, AKS).
• Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Utilise Blazor for interactive web applications and JavaScript for front-end enhancements.
• Use SQL and MongoDB for data storage and performance optimization.
• Manage Azure-based applications using Azure Functions and AKS.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and developers to deliver solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code, adhere to best practices and SOLID principles.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and automated testing to ensure reliability.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability and document software."
