Job summary

Motive is hiring for a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II in Lahore. The role sits in our Sales Operations group and partners with Sales & Sales Ops leaders to scale our operations model.

You will analyze data, build dashboards, manage projects, engage with stakeholders, and ensure data quality to support strategic growth. We expect 3–5 years in BI or related fields, strong SQL, Excel, and Salesforce skills, and a bachelor’s in business/finance/data science or economics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business intelligence or sales ops with data analysis focus.
• Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel and Salesforce; SQL mandatory.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports for strategic decisions.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze data to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide critical business insights.
• Project Management: Assist in managing multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sales leaders and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through meticulous quality assurance processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional Background: 3-5 years in business intelligence, sales operations, or related fields, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Salesforce is essential; Apps Script, Hex and N8N knowledge is preferred and SQL proficiency is mandatory.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a proactive, adaptable mindset. A detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Economics or a related field is encouraged; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Note: As part of the hiring process for this role, there will be a technical round where shortlisted candidates will go through simulations that reflect real scenarios faced by analysts on our team. This includes deep-diving into raw data and crafting business narratives by leveraging data in google sheets and pulling data using SQL, a chance to showcase how you think, analyze, and communicate, beyond traditional interviews.
