We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist with hands-on experience in generating leads and closing B2B sales in the IT sector especially web development and SEO services.

You should be proactive, fluent in English, and capable of managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You must be confident in delivering actual sales, not just leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and close sales for web development, SEO, and marketing services.
  • Work in targeted markets: Canada, USA, UK.
  • Handle the entire sales cycle (lead generation to closing).
  • Use CRMs to track and manage leads and communications.
  • Prepare daily and weekly performance reports.
  • Utilize tracking tools like Apploye for transparency and accountability.
  • Stay updated with trends in the web/SEO industry and B2B client acquisition strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of "proven experience" in business development or sales in the IT industry (web development, SEO, marketing, or design services).
  • Must have verifiable strategies and a track record of delivering sales.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, sales pipelines, and time-tracking platforms.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet set targets.
  • Willingness to undergo multiple interview rounds and a possible test/quiz.

B2B Sales

– Strong experience in selling digital services to businesses, especially abroad.

Lead Generation

– Ability to find, qualify, and nurture leads via platforms like LinkedIn, email, freelance sites, etc.

Cold Outreach & Prospecting

– Writing and sending cold emails/messages that convert.

Sales Communication

– Fluent and persuasive English communication (verbal & written).

– Comfortable handling objections and closing deals.

CRM Tools

– Proficiency in using CRM software to track pipelines, follow-ups, and performance.

Sales Strategy Development

– Ability to plan and execute a sales funnel, especially for website and SEO services.

Market Knowledge

– Understanding of web development, SEO, and digital marketing trends.

– Awareness of competitor services and pricing in the USA, UK, and Canada.

Client Relationship Management

– Building long-term relationships, not just closing one-time sales.

Familiarity with Tracking Tools

– Like Apploye, Hubstaff, etc., for productivity monitoring.

Basic Knowledge of Web & SEO Terms

– To confidently explain services to clients (e.g., “responsive design”, “on-page SEO”, etc.).
