Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Senior Business Development Manager. The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to enhance company growth. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing proposals, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners. Additionally, the role involves negotiating contracts, managing projects, and ensuring that the business development goals align with the company's objectives.

What You'll do:

  • Project Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and close projects mainly fintech projects (B2B, enterprise, and startups).
  • Client Prospecting: Engage payment providers, fintech startups, and institutional clients.
  • Proposals & RFPs: Create compelling proposals, RFP responses, and business decks tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiations & Closures: Lead deal negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Market Research: Analyze fintech trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
  • Online Bidding & Outreach: Win projects via Upwork, Clutch, LinkedIn outreach, and direct partnerships.
  • Relationship Management: Build trust with global clients and maintain long-term accounts.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Tech teams to align solutions with client goals.
  • Event Representation: Attend fintech expos, conferences, and networking events to build visibility and connections.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain CRM, track opportunities, forecast revenue, and ensure a healthy project pipeline.
  • Partnership Development: Explore collaborations with industry players, accelerators, and venture networks.
  • Upselling & Expansion: Grow existing accounts by introducing new services, features, or modules.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven success in closing fintech projects ( wallets, payments, or digital banking systems).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in business development, within fintech/software houses.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of financial technology markets.
  • Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and pitching skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, bidding platforms, and sales pipelines.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Hunter mindset — proactive, target-driven, and resilient.
  • Tech fluency: ability to discuss APIs, or fintech software confidently.
