Translation Empire PK is looking for a Bulgarian Interpreter and Translator in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad. We are currently recruiting for Bulgarian interpreters and translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services, etc.

The Job

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source’ language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target’ language with 100% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence.
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting.
• Deal with highly confidential information.
• Liaise between the service user and service provider.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English or another language.
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
• Any other interpreting related qualification.
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
• Must sign and agree to a surety bond.
• Must sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
