Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a BScN, a valid Pakistan Nursing Council license, CPR and related certifications, and at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BScN degree from an accredited school.
• Two years nursing experience.
• Valid Pakistan Nursing Council license.
• CPR certification and Safe Medication Administration.
• I/V Cannulation knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized plans of care and ensure implementation with timely follow-ups.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and plan patient care accordingly.
• Organize workload and set priorities to deliver care efficiently.
• Communicate all reportable cases to head nurse and manager via shift reports.
• Respond quickly in crises and ensure patient safety in care areas.
• Conduct comprehensive patient education assessments and document teaching.
• Ensure smooth discharge planning, including home meds and follow-up care.
• Follow up with patients within one week post-discharge for health issues.
• Review literature and share findings with junior staff and instructor.
• Gain service-specific expertise through ongoing education.
• Participate in quality circles and projects relevant to the unit.
• Optimize use of hospital resources and coordinate with teams.
• Perform daily rounds in BMT and monitor clinical and administrative aspects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient screening and care.
• Provide timely updates to BMT Section head and unit manager.
