Job summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network in Dera Bugti (Balochistan) seeks an Assistant Manager Biomedical Buying to lead procurement of biomedical equipment, instruments and consumables. You will coordinate with Biomedical, Pathology and Radiology teams to capture technical needs and source qualified vendors.

The role requires 3–6 years in healthcare procurement, strong negotiation skills and experience with ERP procurement processes; ensure compliance with regulatory and donor policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in healthcare procurement.
• Experience with biomedical and laboratory categories across multiple/remote locations.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of biomedical equipment, laboratory instruments, reagents, diagnostic kits, consumables, spare parts and services.
• Coordinate with Bio-Medical, Pathology, Radiology and other departments to understand technical requirements.
• Source and evaluate local and international vendors; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Evaluate quotations and process POs through ERP/procurement systems.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehousing and biomedical engineering for delivery, installation and commissioning.
• Maintain warranties, service contracts and related documentation; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX procurement planning for biomedical and diagnostic categories.
• Conduct market research on products, vendors and pricing trends; ensure policy compliance.
