Job summary

Frontier Works Organization in Nokundi, Pakistan is seeking a Draughtsman to support site survey data collection, prepare shop drawings, and maintain accurate records using AutoCAD and 3D data.

The role involves analyzing cross sections of roads, walls, and breast walls, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and updating drawings to comply with regulations. Travel to sites may be required; flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect survey data from project site and prepare shop drawings.
• Analyze cross sections of roads, retaining walls and breast walls.
• Maintain project drawings records and BOQ calculations with CQS.
• Coordinate updates of AutoCAD, 3D data, and software.
• Ensure drawings comply with regulations and engineering principles.
• Visit sites to gather information and assess feasibility.
• Report design issues to engineers and architects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job description

• To collect survey data / information from the project site & prepare shop drawings / sketches, using computer oriented applications.
• To analyze & prepare cross sections of road, retaining walls & breast walls etc.
• To maintain complete files of drawings / sketches of projects for record keeping.
• To calculate BOQ’s of the cross sections of various works on project in consultation with CQS.
• Maintain files record of drawings hard copy.
• Maintain AutoCAD Data.
• Maintain 3 D Data.
• Updating software, drawings, and other documents.
• Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.
• Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects.
• Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
