Job summary

easypaisa is seeking a high-potential bilingual English-Chinese product professional to partner with the Chief of Staff and cross-functional teams. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery of strategic product initiatives in the offline payments space, connecting consumers, merchants, and retail scenarios in Pakistan.

This role involves end-to-end ownership from ideation to launch, research on market options, and translating feedback into structured insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of work experience with product or technology teams in a requirement-gathering or business analysis capacity.
• Nice to have: study, work, or exchange experience in China; experience in fintech, digital payments, internet companies, consulting, product, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Support key Offline Payments initiatives, tracking priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects and teams.
• Lead end-to-end ownership of assigned product initiatives, from ideation and scoping through development, testing, and launch.
• Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to understand strategic priorities and independently drive planning, execution, and follow-through on key initiatives.
• Work with business, product, technology, and operations teams to drive cross-functional execution, and perform business process gap analysis to manage changes to requirements.
• Conduct research on offline payments, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, retail scenarios, and other market players to inform strategic decision-making.
• Join merchant visits and user research sessions and translate feedback into structured insights and product recommendations.
• Organize and actively participate in bilingual meetings, contributing substantively to discussions and ensuring accurate representation of strategic intent across stakeholder groups.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring priorities are clearly scoped, backlogs are groomed, and delivery is aligned with technical capacity.
• Prepare bilingual meeting notes, business analysis, project updates, and management materials in both English and Chinese.
• Support ongoing communication and coordination between Chinese and Pakistan teams.
• Track progress on key initiatives and deliverables, proactively flagging risks and ensuring timely follow-through with relevant teams.
• Generate regular reports and insights to evaluate the success of initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Manage relationships with partners, vendors, and cross-functional departments for the development and implementation of product-related processes and procedures.
• Gradually take ownership of selected workstreams and cross-functional projects as capability and familiarity grow.
• Shall be responsible to adhere to organizational behavioral standards in all aspects of work conduct.
