Job summary
Datamatics Technologies LLC seeks an AI Platform Operations Engineer to manage and secure enterprise AI workloads on Azure. You will oversee onboarding, governance, and observability of GenAI and agentic workloads, ensuring scalable, cost-effective operations across platform services.
The role requires strong Azure experience, APIM exposure, and governance knowledge to support incident response and cross-team collaboration in a large Azure environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on Microsoft Azure operations experience.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and related services.
- Experience with APIM and API exposure patterns.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and agentic AI.
- Experience implementing guardrails, content filtering and Responsible AI controls.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Operate Azure AI platform services and related platform services.
- Support onboarding of Nexus AI, GenAI and agentic workloads using landing-zone patterns.
- Assist AI gateway and APIM exposure with connectivity and checks.
- Ensure onboarding with guardrails, content-safety controls and governance.
- Monitor prompts/models and validate dashboards and health indicators.
- Coordinate resolution with Microsoft, Client IT, CIS and use-case teams.
- Maintain onboarding checklists, runbooks and knowledge transfer materials.
