Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure management for their Islamabad team. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong skills in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and troubleshooting across multiple layers.

This role involves designing and maintaining infrastructures and collaborating with backend services. Strong ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional software / DevOps / cloud engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting for production code.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and HTTP.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred) for database interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Manage infrastructure with AWS CDK as Infrastructure as Code.
• Build, manage, and debug Docker containers.
• Deploy services on ECS (Fargate) and monitor systems.
