Job summary

Abacus is seeking an Atlassian Certified ITSM Consultant to implement, administer, and support enterprise IT Service Management solutions on the Atlassian platform. This hands-on role is ITSM/administration-focused, with potential for light solution design, scripting, and integrations.

You will lead Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Assets configurations, SLAs, workflows, and dashboards, ensuring ITIL-aligned practices and smooth production deployments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence administration.
• Proven Jira Assets (CMDB) design, lifecycle automation, and AQL reporting.
• Strong JQL knowledge and basic AQL.
• Experience configuring Jira Automation, SLAs, workflows, and conditional forms.
• Exposure to JMWE; ScriptRunner a plus but not mandatory.
• REST APIs, JSON, CSV data import/migration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity provider integration.
• Solid ITIL processes knowledge.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Assets for enterprise clients.
• Configure workflows, request types, forms, SLAs, and automation across ITIL areas.
• Design and maintain JQL/AQL dashboards and reports.
• Build and maintain CMDB schemas with asset lifecycle tracking.
• Configure SLA escalation rules and breach notifications.
• Support production deployments and UAT cycles with stakeholders.
• Document configurations and produce admin/user guides.
