Job summary

ESP Engineered is seeking a skilled Tester in Lahore, Pakistan. The candidate must possess strong Manual and Automation Testing skills, along with 4 - 6 years of experience in the financial or banking domain. Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans, performing regression testing, and supporting UAT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Selenium for Web and Mobile Applications and familiarity with tools like JIRA, as well as knowledge of various testing methodologies. A bachelor's degree in computer science is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field.
• 4 - 6 years of proven experience in the software testing of financial/banking domain.
• Expertise in Selenium Automation: Web and Mobile Applications or similar tools.
• Experience in Performance and Stress Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner is a plus.
• Hands on various Framework: TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, Robot Framework.
• Hands on Mobile Automation: Appium or similar Tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD is preferred.
• Working knowledge of defect tracking software (JIRA, Zephyr preferred).
• Excellent analytical skills & Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in services/API testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. Both Manual and Automation Testing skills are required.

2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

3. Knowledge of Selenium Automation Tool and ability to configure it.

4. Experience in Automation with various frameworks in Web and Mobile Applications.

5. Development of equipment automation plans.

6. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

7. Perform Automation Testing to support regression testing.

8. Providing UAT testing support to external users/stakeholders

9. Exploring and implementing new testing strategies

10. Providing the regular and accurate status updates and insights.

11. Able to shift between Automation and Manual Testing tasks on need basis
