Qualifications

Doctoral degree in the relevant field (e.g. Biomedical or Electrical Engineering).
10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized institution or in a national/international organization, with at least 2 years teaching experience.
10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

Responsibilities

Meet annual targets assigned by the HoD.
Work to targets set by the Dean/Director to ensure high-quality teaching and learning environment for students.
Teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy.
Develop learning materials, prepare schemes of work and monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
Contribute to module information packs, assignments and examination questions; assess progress and provide feedback.
Continue to develop teaching and learning skills and contribute to teaching program planning.
Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during lessons.
Liaise and maintain good relationships with academic colleagues and colleagues in practice.
