Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Project Manager.

In this role, the Project Manager will streamline its complex, interconnected business processes. This role ensures alignment with organizational objectives without disrupting core operations, leveraging advanced project management methodologies and tools to deliver successful outcomes. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to apply expertise in project management to oversee operational excellence, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement through effective governance, simplification, standardization, and strategic planning across all supported units.

Responsibilities
  1. Initiation
    • Define the project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and assess potential risks.
    • Create a business case or project charter to secure project approval.
  2. Planning
    • Develop a detailed project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
    • Create a budget and allocate resources effectively.
    • Identify and manage risks, developing mitigation strategies for potential issues.
  3. Execution
    • Lead and motivate the project team, assigning tasks and clarifying roles.
    • Oversee project activities and manage the day-to-day workflow.
    • Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  4. Monitoring & Controlling
    • Track project progress against the plan, using key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Manage the project budget and adjust resources as needed to stay on track.
    • Handle changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, and communicate these changes to all parties.
    • Strong stakeholder communication with HR leadership and IT operations.
  5. Closure
    • Obtain formal acceptance of the project deliverables from the client or sponsor.
    • Conduct a post-mortem or retrospective analysis to identify what went well and what could be improved for future projects.
    • Archive all project documentation and release team members.
Qualifications We Seek in You!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • A bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field is required
  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably in a global or multinational context
  • Certification in project management methodologies, such as PMP or Agile, is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Experience in project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management
  • Proven experience managing projects in complex environments, including global or multinational contexts
  • Managed cross pod coordination for delivery (Support, Run, Build and Support)
  • Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Trello
  • Hands‑on experience with agile methodologies and sprint planning
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and dependency tracking across various streams
  • Experience with quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet defined standards
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for project hosting and collaboration
  • Experience with DevOps practices to enhance project delivery efficiency
