Job summary

GSK in Karachi seeks a Production and Manufacturing Operations Lead to deliver safe, high-quality products on time. You will work closely with operations, quality, engineering and planning teams to coach teams, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.

You will supervise daily manufacturing and packaging, optimize equipment availability, manage documentation, support CAPAs and audits, and lead small improvement projects to reduce waste and boost KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in manufacturing or packaging within a regulated environment.
  • Practical knowledge of GMP and quality management systems.
  • Experience in production operations, including supervision or frontline leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis or CAPA processes.
  • Ability to use manufacturing systems or ERP tools for data posting.
  • Experience with SAP, MES or inventory management tools.
  • Training or experience in Lean, Six Sigma or operational excellence methods.
  • Experience conducting or supporting audits and readiness activities.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Experience with SAP, manufacturing execution systems or inventory management tools.
