Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking an Assistant Manager Internal Audit in Islamabad to provide independent assurance on internal controls and risk management. The role reports to the Sr.

Manager Internal Audit and involves planning, executing audits, and following up on management actions. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or professional qualification (CA/ICAEW/ACCA/ICMA) with 5–7 years of internal audit/finance experience, and strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree or professional qualification (CA/ICAEW/ACCA/ICMA).
• Preferably 5–7 years of experience in internal audit and finance.

Responsibilities

• Execute assurance engagements including audits, reviews, compliance engagements, investigations and agreed-upon procedures.
• Provide objective views on control effectiveness across operational, reporting and compliance domains.
• Evaluate and improve control processes; advise management on improving controls.
• Develop understanding of the business area under review and assess key risks.
• Develop risk-based sampling and testing to verify controls.
• Report findings and coordinate action plans with management and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support adhoc analyses as required.
