Job Summary:
An Assistant Manager Finance at Creative Chaos is primarily responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring its continued viability. Key functions include monitoring cash flow, assessing profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop strategic and long-term financial plans in collaboration with the financial manager and management team.
- Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and support documents for management meetings.
- Review and analyze financial statements and key metrics.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports, journal entries, and deliverables on a regular basis.
- Participate in analysis, provide recommendations, and engage in discussions related to consolidation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efficiency enhancement projects.
- Support decision-making with financial data and analysis.
- Contribute to various projects, ad-hoc analyses, and reporting tasks.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and monitoring to meet working capital requirements.
- Support month-end closing processes.
- Create revenue recognition rules in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Assist in designing a functional chart of accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferably ACCA certification or related academic background; additional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology firm.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems is preferred.
- Experience with taxation, including corporate tax, withholding tax filings, sales tax, and income tax.
- Experience handling petty cash and verification processes.
- Exceptional team management skills.
- Expertise in Excel, including complex formulas.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Knowledge of US taxes and accounting is required.
- Experience with technology companies or US firms is preferred.
