The Assistant Manager – Accounting will lead statutory and management reporting, supervise junior staff, and apply IFRS and UK GAAP with precision.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting, strong technical knowledge, and proficiency with IFRS, UK GAAP, Excel, and accounting software.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience supporting month-end/period-end close and recurring management accounts
• Experience in offshore financial services preferred
• Background in professional services, audit, or accounting advisory
• Experience preparing technical accounting memoranda or advisory papers
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
• Financial services exposure desirable

Aufgaben

• Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting including cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements in line with IFRS and UK GAAP
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts in client formats and within reporting timelines
• Provide financial information for board/committee reporting packs
• Review work produced by others to ensure accuracy and quality
• Apply and interpret accounting standards and provide technical input as needed
• Draft technical accounting papers addressing treatments, judgments, and new standards impact
