Job summary

GE Healthcare Technology's distribution arm is hiring in Islamabad for an Assistant Financial Controller with 3+ years of experience. The role focuses on IFRS-15 revenue recognition, invoicing controls, and inventory reconciliations to support financial accuracy and governance.

ACCA or CA finalist background is preferred. The position requires collaboration with Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, and Finance to enhance processes, reporting, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFRS-15 and revenue recognition processes.
• Proficient in reviewing invoices, pro forma invoices, credit/debit notes.
• Strong understanding of inventory movements and TB reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition activities per IFRS-15 and analyze revenue costs.
• Review and validate customer invoicing, pro forma invoicing, credit/debit notes, and other revenue-related transactions.
• Review and approve inventory movements and monthly inventory reconciliation with the Trial Balance.
• Review and approve Sales Orders and related inventory transfers to ensure proper controls.
• Review inventory-related accounting entries including transfers, goods issues, receipts, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Prepare and review management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for CFO.
• Support audits by providing reconciliations, documentation, and explanations for revenue and inventory balances.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, efficiency, and automation.

Role Overview – Assistant Financial Controller (3+ years)

Role Summary/ Purpose

• Manage and oversee revenue recognition activities in accordance with IFRS-15, along with Revenue cost analysis & investigate the unusual.
• Review and validate customer invoicing, pro forma invoicing, credit/debit notes, and other revenue-related transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review and approve inventory movements and inventory transfer postings along with monthly inventory reconciliation with the Trial Balance
• Review and approve Sales Orders & related inventory transfers to ensure control is in place.
• Review inventory-related accounting entries, including transfers, goods issues, receipts, adjustments, and other movements affecting the General Ledger.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve inventory, invoicing, and revenue-related issues.
• Prepare and review management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue and inventory for CFO review.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing reconciliations, supporting documentation, and explanations for revenue and inventory balances.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, process efficiency, and automation across revenue and inventory processes.

Education
