Job summary

DWP Group in Lahore is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles and will handle various accounting tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities include processing bank and vendor payments, performing bank and ledger reconciliations, assisting in tax calculations, generating stock reports, and ensuring proper documentation. A Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in bank payment processing and vendor payments.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of tax calculations and reporting.
• Ability to generate and analyze stock reports.
• Familiarity with vendor invoice processing and documentation.
• Understanding of tax deduction procedures from vendor payments.
