Job summary

RECH INTERNATIONAL in Pakistan seeks an Area Sales Manager for Knee implants and related surgical devices. You will lead sales, service, and applications, build key hospital relationships, and drive targets across assigned accounts.

The role requires 4–5 years in medical devices sales, a pre-med background preferred, strong negotiation and travel willingness, and the ability to forecast market trends.

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelors degree with a pre-medical background preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of sales experience in Medical Devices/Medical Equipment/Surgical Disposable/Pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with willingness to travel and sound knowledge of geographical locations.
• Experience in managing customer accounts preferably Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales, service, and application processes for surgical business operations, ensuring achievement of targets for assigned accounts and product lines.
• Develop and implement strategies while managing the team to meet organizational goals and objectives.
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by strengthening existing relationships and establishing new connections with key hospitals and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain an effective and accurate sales opportunity pipeline, providing regular market updates and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Communicate product value propositions effectively, highlighting differentiators to prospects, and regularly monitor performance metrics, suggesting improvements as needed.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills to drive successful outcomes.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and medical devices, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
