Mashreq in Karachi is seeking an IBM API Connect Administrator to manage the API platform across cloud and on-premises environments. The role includes installation, configuration, monitoring, and incident resolution to ensure API performance and availability.

The candidate will handle backups, restore processes, and security configurations, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer portal changes.

Qualificações

• Must manage IBM API Connect environments end-to-end including incident resolution.
• Experience with monitoring health and performance of APIs and services.
• Familiarity with logs analysis, backups and restoration strategies.
• Ability to configure security, TLS profiles, and authentication flows.

Responsabilidades

• Installation, configuration, deployment, administration and monitoring of IBM API Connect in Cloud and On Prem VMs.
• Monitor the health of the IBM API Connect environment to ensure performance and availability of APIs.
• Lead incident resolution calls and assist root cause analysis.
• Analyze logs to identify problems within the IBM API Connect environment.
• Configure and implement backup and restoration of IBM API Connect subsystems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline for building and deploying APIs in IBM API Connect.
• Use API Management Portal to manage lifecycle of APIs across catalogs.
• Manage users, groups, roles, and security configurations in the environment.
• Make Developer Portal changes to portal configuration and Drupal themes as needed.
• Enable third party tools like Elastic to capture analytics events for dashboards.
• Splunk data platform expertism with advanced search queries and alerts for failures.
• Configure security using TLS Profiles and oAuth2 mechanisms.
