Detailed Job Description

As an AI / Python Engineer supporting TekDex on an on-site professional basis in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad (working evening timings from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM), you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of AI software design, prompt engineering, API integration, and cross‑functional engineering collaboration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications utilizing Python, implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into production environments, researching and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI architectures, building, testing, and securing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, collaborating proactively with data scientists, software architects, and product managers during agile sprint cycles, and interacting directly with human resources specialists like Mahnoor Khalid.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain robust artificial intelligence applications and software solutions utilizing Python.
• Implement, tune, and operationalize machine learning models and AI/ML technologies across scalable backend environments.
• Research, integrate, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI architectures, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Design, develop, secure, and document robust RESTful APIs and asynchronous integration endpoints for seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Conduct rigorous debugging, performance profiling, latency reduction, and token usage optimization of AI workflows.
• Collaborate proactively with cross‑functional engineering squads, UI/UX designers, and product managers during agile sprint cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of progressive professional hands‑on experience in software development, Python programming, and AI engineering.
• Strong, demonstrable operational expertise in Python and modern asynchronous programming frameworks.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
• Deep practical experience with Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering paradigms.
