Job summary

ibex is seeking a highly motivated AI / Prompt Engineer to design, develop, and optimize prompts and workflows for Generative AI applications. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and data teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that boost productivity and automate processes.

You will build prompt libraries, test and refine prompts for LLMs, and help implement AI-driven experiences across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Science/Engineering or related field.
• 1–3+ years experience with AI tools, chatbots, automation, or prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs & NLP.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs and improve prompt quality.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and data teams to create effective AI-powered solutions that improve productivity, automate processes, and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, and other AI platforms
• Develop prompt libraries, templates, and best practices for various business use cases
• Analyze AI-generated outputs and continuously optimize prompt performance for accuracy, relevance, and consistency
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions
• Create AI workflows, automation processes, and conversational experiences
• Conduct prompt testing, evaluation, and quality assurance activities
• Document prompt engineering methodologies, standards, and user guidelines
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, trends, and industry best practices
• Support AI adoption initiatives through training, demonstrations, and user enablement programs
• Work with developers and data scientists to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and applications
• Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, privacy, and ethical AI standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related fiel
• 1–3+ years of experience working with AI tools, chatbots, automation platforms, or prompt engineerin
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Natural Language Processing (NLP
• Experience with AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tool
