Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional writing experience
• A writing-intensive academic background (e.g., B.A. in English or Journalism)
• Exceptional research, editing, and long-form writing skills with samples
• Ability to communicate complex, technical ideas in accessible ways
• Working understanding of SEO best practices
• Meticulous editing of others’ writing
• Curious, growth-minded, self-driven
• Interest in latest trends in technology and software development
• Familiarity with coding concepts is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Research, edit, optimize, and publish technical blogs, newsletters, landing pages, guides, and other content
• Use of GPT, Claude and other generative AI tools for ideation, research, drafting, editing, optimization, and scaling content
• Help develop and improve Educative’s content generation pipeline and workflows
• Review and improve content through research, fact-checking, editing, and restructuring
• Produce original content when needed for strategic communication
• Conduct ongoing competitor research across multiple platforms
• Analyze topics, formats, SEO approaches, and distribution channels
• Identify emerging technology trends to guide content ideas
• Translate insights into editorial priorities and new initiatives
• Develop user-focused landing pages that drive engagement and conversions
• Manage content across publishing accounts with consistent branding
• Adapt writing to different audiences and formats while maintaining voice
• Apply SEO best practices to improve organic visibility
• Monitor content performance and iterate based on data
• Contribute to editorial calendars from ideation to execution
• Collaborate with SEO, marketing, product, and SMEs
• Promote diversity and accessibility in software engineering content
