Job summary

Datamatics-Global-Services-Ltd is seeking an experienced AEM Developer to build scalable e-commerce experiences using Adobe Experience Manager in Islamabad. You will leverage AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, and API integrations to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities include developing AEM Sites, components, templates and PDP/PLP pages, integrating with commerce APIs, configuring Dispatcher caching, and ensuring performance in high-traffic environments.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Strong Java, Apache Sling, Sling Models, and OSGi skills.
• Proficient in HTL/Sightly and AEM Sites, Components, Templates, and Experience Fragments.
• Experience building PDP/PLP and e-commerce experiences.
• Experience integrating AEM with REST and GraphQL APIs and commerce systems.

• Collaborate with frontend, commerce, API, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.

4. Create and manage Experience Fragments for reusable and omnichannel content.
5. Integrate AEM with commerce APIs for products, pricing, inventory, cart, and related functionality.
6. Implement robust integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
7. Build user-friendly authoring components and workflows for merchandisers and content teams.
8. Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and cache invalidation.
9. Optimize AEM applications for performance, scalability, and high-traffic e-commerce environments.
10. Collaborate with front-end, commerce, API, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver end-to-end digital experiences.

Must-Have Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
2. Strong proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, Sling Models, and OSGi.
3. Hands-on experience with HTL/Sightly.
4. Strong experience with AEM Sites, Components, Templates, and Experience Fragments.
5. Experience developing PDP, PLP, or similar e-commerce experiences.
6. Strong experience integrating AEM with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
7. Experience with commerce integrations involving product, pricing, inventory, or cart functionality.
8. Strong knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and performance optimization.
9. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development.
10. Experience developing and supporting scalable, reusable AEM solutions in enterprise environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris, Adobe Commerce/Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
2. Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
3. Exposure to Adobe Commerce Integration Framework (CIF).
4. Knowledge of headless/hybrid AEM, personalization, and omnichannel experiences.
5. Familiarity with CI/CD, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and web performance best practices.
