Datamatics Technologies LLC in Islamabad is seeking an experienced AEM Developer to build and enhance scalable, high-performance ecommerce experiences using Adobe Experience Manager. The role requires strong expertise in AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, commerce API integrations, Dispatcher caching, and performance optimization.

The candidate will develop PDP/PLP pages, Experience Fragments, and integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, Sling Models, and OSGi.
  • Hands-on experience with HTL/Sightly.
  • Experience with AEM Sites, Components, Templates, and Experience Fragments.
  • Experience developing PDP/PLP or similar ecommerce experiences.
  • Strong experience integrating AEM with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with commerce integrations for product, pricing, inventory, or cart functionality.
  • Strong knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and performance optimization.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development.
  • Experience developing scalable, reusable AEM solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable AEM Sites, components, templates, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
  • Build and enhance PDPs and PLPs, with dynamic filters.
  • Develop personalized landing pages and campaign experiences within AEM.
  • Create and manage Experience Fragments for omnichannel content.
  • Integrate AEM with commerce APIs for products, pricing, inventory, cart functionalities.
  • Implement robust integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Build authoring components and workflows for merchandisers and content teams.
  • Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and cache invalidation.
  • Optimize AEM apps for performance, scalability, and high-traffic ecommerce environments.
  • Collaborate with frontend, commerce, API, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and deliver end-to-end experiences.

  3. Develop personalized landing pages and campaign experiences within AEM.
  4. Create and manage Experience Fragments for reusable and omnichannel content.
  5. Integrate AEM with commerce APIs for products, pricing, inventory, cart, and related functionality.
  6. Implement robust integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
  7. Build user-friendly authoring components and workflows for merchandisers and content teams.
  8. Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and cache invalidation.
  9. Optimize AEM applications for performance, scalability, and high-traffic e-commerce environments.
  10. Collaborate with front-end, commerce, API, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver end-to-end digital experiences.
Must-Have Skills
  1. Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  2. Strong proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, Sling Models, and OSGi.

  10. Experience developing and supporting scalable, reusable AEM solutions in enterprise environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
  1. Experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris, Adobe Commerce/Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  2. Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
  3. Exposure to Adobe Commerce Integration Framework (CIF).
  4. Knowledge of headless/hybrid AEM, personalization, and omnichannel experiences.
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and web performance best practices.
