Job summary

DCC Consultants seeks a Medical Billing Specialist to review and manage claims using billing software. You will coordinate with insurance companies, review EOBs, and pursue timely payments while auditing charting and submitting claims via EMR and clearing houses.

The role requires 3 years of billing experience, a Bachelor's or Master's degree, strong communication and MS Office skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Night shift 6 pm–3 am PKT with several benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with clearing-houses and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage claims using billing software and EMR systems.
• Follow up weekly on unpaid claims until resolved.
• Review EOBs and correct denials; initiate rebilling as needed.
• Submit claims through EMR and clearing houses accurately.
• Coordinate with Admissions and AR teams to ensure timely processing.
• Audit clinical charting for accuracy and maintain data integrity.

Job Description:

• Access billing software systems to review and manage claims.
• Work directly with insurance companies and healthcareproviders to secure timely payments.
• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Follow up weekly on unpaid claims until resolved.
• Document detailed notes on claim follow-up activities.
• Identify and correct claim errors; initiate rebilling as necessary.
• Review clearing houses for denials and make corrections.
• Research payer-specific billing guidelines and implement best practices.
• Handle appeals and reconsiderations for denied claims.
• Collaborate with insurance representatives to resolve claim issues.
• Meet all reporting deadlines as assigned.
• Audit clinical charting for accuracy.
• Prepare and submit claims through EMR and clearing houses.
• Review and correct rejected claims promptly.
• Maintain accurate data entry in master databases.
• Coordinate with Admissions and AR teams to ensure timely claim processing.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institute.

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with clearing-houses (e.g., GECentricity) and EMR systems.

Skills:

• Strong communication (verbal & written)and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to workin a fast-paced environment.
