Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Shared Services Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Markham office. You will support the Accounts Payable Manager, ensure timely payments, and investigate issues while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires a college/university accounting program and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Yardi/Point Click Care. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• College or university accounting program is required.
• MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Yardi and Point Click Care is an asset.
• Strong accuracy and analytical abilities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team player who quickly adapts to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end activities including EFT and cheque payment reviews.
• Investigate root causes and resolve vendor inquiries.
• Prepare financial reports and explain variances in accounts payable.
• Report KPIs and conduct meaningful analyses for management.
• Review AP processes and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage AP communications.
