Job summary

CodeNinja Inc. in Lahore is seeking an Accounts Payable Intern to join the Finance team. You will gain hands-on experience in AP activities, vendor management, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

You will support day‑to‑day AP tasks, learn QBO, and assist with month‑end close while developing within a growing AI-enabled engineering services company.

Qualifications

• Candidate has CAF/ACCA Part qualification or a degree in finance/accounting.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounts Executive with day-to-day Accounts Payable activities.
• Record supplier invoices and transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Verify invoices and approvals before processing.
• Maintain invoice and payment trackers and monitor vendor balances.
• Support vendor reconciliations and statement matching.
• Coordinate with internal teams for invoice processing and approvals.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
• Support month-end close and AP-related reporting.
• Prepare Excel-based reports and schedules.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Internee to join our Finance team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Accounts Executive and gain hands-on experience in accounts payable, vendor management, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Executive with day-to-day Accounts Payable activities.
• Record supplier invoices and accounting transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Verify invoices, supporting documents, and required approvals before processing.
• Maintain accurate invoice and payment trackers.
• Monitor vendor balances and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Assist with vendor reconciliations and statement matching.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoice processing and payment approvals.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Support monthly closing activities and AP-related reporting.
• Prepare Excel-based reports, schedules, and other financial records as required.
• Gradually take ownership of end-to-end AP processes and other general accounting activities as part of the career development plan.

Requirements

• CAF Part Qualified, ACCA Part Qualified, BBA (Accounts/Finance), B.Com, or M.Com.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a structured environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the Finance function.
• Candidates pursuing ACCA/CAF will be provided examination leave only. No additional academic leave will be permitted.

Career Growth

• Stipened at PKR 50,000 per month.
• Probation: 3 months.
• Successful candidates will be confirmed as permanent Finance & Accounts Executives based on performance.
• The role offers hands‑on exposure to Accounts Payable, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, QBO, month‑end activities, financial controls, and general accounting.
