Job summary

A local paper products company in Karachi is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and support audits. Candidates should be proficient in accounting software and possess strong attention to detail. This position demands good communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, along with knowledge of taxation regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial transactions and accounting.
  • Proficient in handling financial statements and audits.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process and record day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally)
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Knowledge of taxation (income Tax, Sales Tax, WHT, SECP)

Job description
  • Process and record day-to-day financial transactions. Assist in checking.
  • Manage account payable and received;
  • Ensure timely invoice Processing and follow -ups
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Proper Preparation of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows)
  • Support audit - provide document and Liaise with auditors.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and Variance analysis.

Key Skills Require (Minimum 3 Required)

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail; High level of accuracy
  • Good communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines
