Akhuwat is seeking a diligent accounting professional in Lahore to manage and supervise core accounting functions in line with IFRS and company policies. The role involves overseeing vouchers, journal entries, and reconciliations, while supporting audits and financial reporting.

The candidate should have CA Inter with Articles and strong communication and teamwork skills to contribute to budget control, tax filings, and overall financial governance.

Qualifications

• CA Inter with Articles completed from a reputed firm.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Time management and Team player.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with IFRS and company policy.
• Supervise preparation of payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist in tax filing preparations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely settlements.
• Strengthen internal controls, approval matrix and financial governance.
• Review expense documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate audits and prepare schedules and audit responses.
• Ensure proper documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Support treasury operations including cash flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for financial data, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation in finance.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.
