Bestax Chartered Accountants is seeking an Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant to manage Canadian corporate and personal tax filings (T2/T1), GST/HST, payroll taxes, and basic tax planning. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and CaseWare.

The role involves reviewing financial records, maintaining bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and handling notices from tax authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA Affiliate/Part-Qualified.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Canadian taxation & accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations, and compliance.
• Experience with T1, T2, GST/HST, and payroll tax filings.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, CaseWare, TaxCycle, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Support basic tax planning to help reduce tax liabilities.
