Job summary

Edge is expanding its Finance vertical and seeks a Senior Accountant to own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities or clients. This full-time remote role serves international clients with IFRS/US GAAP insights, month-end closes, reconciliations, and audits.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of accounting experience, ACCA or CA finalist status, and strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• ACCA or CA finalist.
• 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
• Experience preparing month-end financial reports.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

As a Accountant, you will own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities or clients, ensuring compliance while serving as a trusted financial partner to internal and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (schedule based on client requirements - Schedule can be in PST/MST/EST/CST)
