Job summary

Game District in Lahore is seeking a creative 2D Game & UI Artist with a strong eye for visual design, game art and user interfaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio, understand gaming trends, and be comfortable using AI tools to enhance their creative workflow.

You will create 2D game assets and design engaging UI elements, collaborating with designers, developers and artists to deliver production-ready visuals and maintain consistency across art and UI while staying current

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant art or design field.
• 3+ years of experience in 2D game art and UI/UX art.
• Strong portfolio showcasing game art and UI work.
• Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate; familiar with AI-assisted workflows.
• Solid understanding of composition, color, typography and visual hierarchy.
• Sound knowledge of UI design principles for games and apps.
• Passion for gaming and awareness of current trends in art styles.
• Strong creative thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience with AI-powered creative tools and prompting.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D game assets, including characters, environments, objects, backgrounds, icons, and promotional visuals.
• Design engaging game UI elements, screens, menus, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with Game Designers, Developers, and Artists to deliver production-ready assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications
