The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction, data-informed decision making, professional learning, effective instructional practices, and systems that support student achievement, particularly in literacy and mathematics.
The Newport School District is located in the Dartmouth/Sunapee region, close to Concord, top-tier medical facilities, with opportunities for higher education, access to the arts, and four-season outdoor sports.

Our school district has two campuses that serve approximately 600 students. The Superintendent manages 200 employees with an executive leadership team.

Qualifications Profile
Certifications/License:
State Certification as required for position
Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in School Administration.
Experience:
Extensive successful teaching experience, preferably in more than one grade level.
Extensive successful administration experience, preferably both as a school building and central office administrator.
