Job summary

Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced polishing technician for ZnSe lens finishing in a 100% onsite production setting. You will follow instructions, inspect components, and maintain detailed records while supporting safety and quality processes.

The role emphasizes leading polishing activities, meeting daily targets, and collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A vocational diploma or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
• HS graduates with relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.
• 2+ years in lens polishing or precision manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience with optical materials and quality inspection is a plus.
• Familiarity with cleanroom practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead polishing activities to meet daily production targets and quality specs.
• Oversee polishing process from setup to final inspection.
• Train team members on polishing techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering/quality to optimize processes.
