Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with strong emphasis on managing public policy or legislative reform projects.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in policy advocacy and campaigning with external relationship building.
• Strong understanding of development and humanitarian issues, climate change and energy transition.
• Analytical and strategic planning skills with ability to influence organizational strategy within a regional framework.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall youth-led climate justice and just energy transition advocacy at national level.
• Coordinates constituency building and policy advocacy for the campaign, managing related commissions.
• Builds relationships with climate and energy transition stakeholders at national and subnational levels.
• Monitors climate justice trends and provides updates for internal and partner consumption.
• Produces narrative reports and collaborates to ensure timely, high-quality reporting.
