Job summary

Oxfam Pilipinas seeks a communications and campaigns professional to lead its Climate Justice portfolio and youth-led advocacy efforts. You will develop multimedia content, gather stories, and support partners to amplify messages. The role requires strong English/Filipino skills, and experience in policy advocacy.

You will collaborate with PAC teams, manage events, and prepare donor reports while upholding safeguarding, equity, and gender justice values in all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in development communications or related programs with emphasis on campaigns related to climate justice.
• Minimum of three years experience in policy advocacy, communications, and campaigning; able to lead or be an effective team member.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Filipino and other local languages.
• Proven experience producing multimedia products and using media monitoring tools and social listening platforms.
• Strong understanding of development, climate justice, gender justice and humanitarian issues in the Global South.
• Track record of producing evidence-based policy papers or publications and experience in lobbying and representational roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in multicultural settings with diverse partners.
• Advanced to intermediate knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva and Microsoft apps.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and implementation of the communications and campaigns strategy for the Climate Justice portfolio.
• Works with CJ Portfolio and PAC Teams to implement strategy and provide support.
• Develops engaging multimedia content (social media posts, web stories, infographics, videos, newsletters).
• Gathers stories of change from project partners and communities.
• Provides technical support to CJ Portfolio team and partners to amplify campaigns.
• Provides administrative and logistical support for communications events, workshops and campaigns.
• Prepares campaigns and communications briefings and reports for donors and internal use.
• Monitors communications performance using analytics tools.
• Represents the organization externally as delegated.
• Supports safeguarding and equity policies in all activities.
