Job Summary:
The Working Foreman – Marble Installer is responsible for supervising and performing the installation of marble, granite, and other natural stone materials for flooring, walls, countertops, and other structures. The role ensures high-quality workmanship, proper alignment, and adherence to project timelines while leading installation workers on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of marble installers and helpers on-site.
- Perform actual installation of marble, granite, and stone materials.
- Interpret drawings, layouts, and installation plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and polish marble or stone using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Ensure correct alignment, leveling, and finishing of installed materials.
- Monitor the progress of work and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools and materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding installation requirements.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or vocational course related to construction or masonry is an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in marble/stone installation.
- With experience as a foreman or team leader in construction or installation projects.
- Knowledgeable in marble cutting, polishing, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read construction drawings and measurements.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
