Job Description

The Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing a team of workers on construction sites or in a manufacturing environment. They ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, all while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of workers, ensuring effective teamwork and productivity. Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers based on their skill sets and project needs. Train and mentor workers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
• Project Management: Monitor daily progress and productivity on the job site. Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Prepare and maintain daily reports on project status, labor usage, and any issues that arise.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure the crew is adhering to OSHA regulations or other safety guidelines. Conduct safety meetings and address safety concerns on-site. Perform regular inspections of equipment, tools, and work practices to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed according to the project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot any issues or defects in the work process.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. Resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise on the job site in a timely and professional manner.
• Resource Management: Oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. Monitor inventory and request materials or tools as needed.

Qualifications
