About the Role: The WFM Manager is responsible for optimizing workforce scheduling and staffing levels to meet operational needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate staffing forecasts based on historical data, sales projections, and other relevant factors. Analyze trends and adjust forecasts as needed.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for all assigned staff, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation. Utilize WFM software to optimize schedules.
  • Labor Cost Management: Monitor and control labor costs by analyzing variances, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to staffing, service levels, and employee productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and employees regarding scheduling changes and performance expectations. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and operational issues. Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on WFM software and scheduling best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and company policies.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update WFM software and related systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and optimize workforce utilization.
  • Budget Management: Contribute to the development and management of the department's budget.

Qualifications:
