Job summary

Asia Peopleworks Inc. seeks an on-site electrical engineer to lead installation and commissioning of wind turbine projects. You will supervise installation activities, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

The role requires an engineering background and experience in electrical installation or construction, with the ability to read schematics and technical documents. Wind energy experience is preferred for this challenging field role.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience in electrical installation, commissioning or construction projects is required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents is required.
• Wind energy or renewable energy experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation and commissioning activities for wind turbines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and HSE requirements.
• Oversee contractors installing cables, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and grounding systems.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and energization activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, HSE, EPC contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage punch lists, documentation, and final project handover.
