Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our international remote team. In this role, you will accurately process medical bills and insurance claims, verify coverage eligibility, and resolve claim denials and appeals. You will collaborate directly with healthcare providers and insurance companies while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards. This full-time position operates on a regular schedule during US Pacific Standard Time business hours.

Schedule

• Mon - Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM PST with 1 hr unpaid break (40 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

• Process medical bills and insurance claims accurately and efficiently
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare laws
• Handle claim denials and appeals process
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient billing records
