Job summary

Marygracecafe is seeking a skilled welder-carpenter to manage welding, metal and wood repairs. The role includes maintaining tools, diagnosing equipment faults, and executing emergency repairs promptly.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of relevant experience and be amenable to a night shift, working in confined spaces. This position requires travel to various café locations and immediate availability.

Job description

Welds, fabricates, installs, repairs, and maintains tools and metal works for operations.

Performs fabrication, repairs, and maintenance of wood works including but not limited to doors, tables, chairs, wall planks, among others.

Repairs and maintains ceiling structures, c purlins, gypsum boards, and support structures.

Diagnoses equipment faults for tools and systems related to machine operations.

Executes risk-based maintenance on systems and equipment.

Cleans, adjusts, and repairs systems and executes warranty services.

Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Provides technical direction and on-the-job trainings.

Keeps daily logs and records of all repairs and maintenance functions.

Complies with service and safety standards and work instructions.

Performs other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Has at least 6 months of related work experience as welder-carpenter.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal & writing form and proficient in reading work plans.
• Amenable to work on a 6-day workweek, shifting schedule, dominantly night shift for repairs and maintenance program execution.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel to various Mary Grace Café locations.
• Can start ASAP. Our Head Office is located at San Martin de Porres, Paranaque City
