Job summary

Outsourcey is seeking a web developer in the Philippines to join our team, building and maintaining web applications that process financial data. You will work across the full tech stack, integrating external data feeds and APIs, and supporting lead-generation features.

You will collaborate with senior developers, learn fast, and leverage AI tools to improve coding, debugging, and documentation, while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of web development experience.
• Understanding of full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies, databases and web apps.
• Experience with APIs, datafeeds and data integration from external sources.
• Familiarity with financial data providers such as EODHD, Twelve Data or Intrinio.
• Familiarity with Vercel or similar hosting platforms.
• Experience with Claude Code and Cursor is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial data and APIs is essential.
• AI-native mindset with ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of web applications across front-end and back-end environments.
• Work with financial data, ensuring data is collected, processed and displayed within web applications.
• Integrate and maintain APIs and datafeeds from external sources.
• Support the development of lead-generation functionality, including forms and landing pages.
• Assist with database management and storage and retrieval of financial and customer data.
• Use AI tools to aid coding, debugging, research and documentation.
• Test, troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues.
• Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Profile Requirements:

• Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, financial data providers such as EODHD, Twelve Data and Intrinio.
• Familiarity with Vercel or similar platforms for hosting and deploying web applications.
• Experience using Claude Code and Cursor for coding assistance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial data and financial APIs is non-negotiable.
• AI-native and highly curious, with experience using AI development tools and the ability to learn new technologies quickly and work through technical problems independently.

• Integrate and maintain APIs and datafeeds, including retrieving, transforming and managing data from external sources.
• Support the development of lead-generation functionality, including forms, landing pages, data capture and related workflows.
• Assist with database management and the storage, organisation and retrieval of financial and customer data.
• Use AI tools throughout the development process to assist with coding, debugging, research, documentation and development workflows.
• Test, troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues, ensuring functionality and data accuracy.
• Work across the full technology stack and collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
